"Texas Picadillo" By: Martha Rath of San Antonio, Texas

A perfect meal for moms on the go but,  still value nutrition! 

This recipe is a mixture of beef and vegetables in only one pan with lots of Texas Flavor!

 

Ingredients: 

1lb ground beef or ground roast beef

salt and pepper to taste

1 large clove garlic

1 med onion

1 green pepper

1 teaspoon of cumin

8oz Maria Louisa Salsa

optional ingredients:

 tortillas  (soft shell or hard)

 

Preparation Instructions: 

Brown meat, drain of any fat, salt and pepper to taste.   Add potatoes, onions, garlic, cumin, Maria Louisa Salsa, simmer 30 minutes or until potatoes are soft in a large pan and serve.

Serve with  tortillas (hard or soft)
